After finishing the fall semester of teaching, I went back to the US for a month to the Quad Cities. Had a litle ice storm toward the end.
Fit in a little visit to Chicago.
And after a long airplaine ride, I'm back in Korea for another exciting year of teaching. For the past week I've been teaching winter English camp for 3rd and 4th graders. Candy is a first rate teaching tactic in Korea; I tried to get volunteers for a role play song one day and no one would do it. I even tried to "make" some students volunteer but it just wasn't gonna happen. The next day I offered candy for them to volunteer and they were fighting to come up front. Except it seems like they don't like pineapple. |
